What is Site Doctor?

Site Doctor is a fast, practical website diagnosis service. I look at your site like a real user would (especially on mobile), find what’s quietly hurting conversions, and tell you exactly what to fix—without turning it into a 47-page novel you’ll never read.

Who is this for?

  • Small business owners who know their site “should be doing better”
  • Local service businesses (contractors, clinics, shops, trades)
  • Creators and consultants who need a clearer offer + stronger funnel
  • Anyone running ads/social traffic and wondering why people bounce

If your site already prints money and you’re just here for the vibes… I respect it, but you probably don’t need me.

What do you actually deliver?

Typically:

  • A short teardown video (quick, specific, actionable)
  • A clear list of issues + recommended fixes (so you can hand it to your developer—or your future self)
  • Prioritized “do this first” guidance (because you have a life)

If you’re already working with a developer, this becomes your “stop guessing and do this” checklist.

How long is the teardown?

Realistic range: 5–15 minutes depending on the site and what’s going on.
Long enough to be useful. Short enough to actually watch.

What kind of issues do you look for?

Common stuff that actually moves the needle:

  • Confusing hero section (unclear what you do, who it’s for, why it matters)
  • Weak or missing CTA (or 12 CTAs fighting to the death)
  • Mobile layout issues
  • Slow load times or heavy assets
  • Cluttered pages and “wall of text” sections
  • Navigation that makes users think too hard
  • Forms that ask for a blood sample and your mother’s maiden name
  • Trust signals missing (reviews, proof, photos, credentials, guarantees)
  • Copy that talks about you instead of what the customer gets
  • Bad hierarchy (everything screams, nothing speaks)

Is this an SEO audit?

Not in the “I’m going to talk about backlinks for three hours” sense.
I’ll definitely flag obvious SEO problems (titles, structure, speed, basics), but the focus is user experience and conversion clarity—because traffic is great, but conversions pay your bills.

Will you fix the issues you find?

I can, depending on the situation.
Some people want:

  • “Tell me what to fix and I’ll do it.”
    Others want:
  • “Fix it. I don’t want to touch WordPress ever again.”

The teardown is the diagnosis. Implementation is optional.

What platforms do you work with?

Most commonly:

  • WordPress (Kadence, Elementor, etc.)
  • Wix / Squarespace
  • Shopify
  • Custom-built sites

If your site loads in a browser, I can diagnose it.

Do you need access to my website login?

Usually no. A teardown typically requires only the public site link.
If you hire me to implement changes, then yes—we’ll handle access in a sane, secure way.

Can you review my site if it’s not finished yet?

Yes—often that’s the best time.
A pre-launch teardown can save you from publishing a site that looks nice but converts like a broken vending machine.

What if my site has multiple service or locations?

That’s normal. I’ll focus on:

  • Clarity of the primary offer
  • How fast a new visitor understands what to do next
  • Whether the structure matches how people actually decide

If you have a huge site, I’ll prioritize the highest-impact pages first (home, service pages, booking/contact, key landing pages).

Do you only review mobile UX?

Mobile is the priority because that’s where most people are.
But I check the desktop site version, too—especially if you run B2B traffic or your analytics show heavy desktop use.

Can you do a teardown of a specific page (like a landing page)?

Absolutely. In fact, landing page teardowns are often the highest ROI because they connect directly to ads and campaigns.

Will you publicly post my teardown video?

Only if you’re cool with it.

Some teardowns are:

  • Private (for your eyes only)
    Others are:
  • Public examples (with your permission) used as educational content

If you want it private, it stays private. I’m not here to dunk on your business—I’m here to make it convert. Some clients prefer the free publicity that a public teardown provides; others prefer to keep it off the record.

How do I submit my site?

Click here, and submit the $20 payment. Fill out the attached form, being sure to include:

  • Your site URL
  • Any specific goal (calls, bookings, purchases, lead forms, etc.)
  • Optional: any pages you want prioritized

Bonus points (not required): a quick note on who your ideal customer is.

How fast do I get my teardown?

Usually within a short turnaround window depending on current volume.
If you’re on a deadline (launch, ad campaign, promo), say so—I’ll tell you what’s realistic.

What if I disagree with your recommendations?

Totally fine. This isn’t law, it’s diagnosis.
If something is brand-specific (tone, audience, industry norms), we adjust. The goal is results, not my ego.

Do you guarantee results?

No honest person can guarantee conversions because your offer, pricing, competition, traffic quality, and follow-up all matter.

What I can do:

  • Make the site clearer
  • Reduce friction
  • Improve trust and flow
  • Increase the odds that the right visitors take the next step

That’s the game.

What if I already have a designer or a developer?

Great. This makes their job easier.
You can hand them the prioritized notes and say:
“Please fix these in order. Thanks.”

Do you offer ongoing help, or just one-time teardowns?

Yes—some businesses do best with ongoing checkups, especially if you’re:

  • running ads
  • changing offers seasonally
  • adding pages frequently
  • trying to climb from “pretty site” to “sales machine”

What do you need from me to make this most useful?

Answer one question:
What’s the #1 action you want visitors to take?
Call? Book? Buy? Fill out a form?

If you don’t choose the main action, your site will choose chaos.

How much does it cost?

Depends on whether you want:

  • a quick teardown
  • a deep audit
  • implementation
  • ongoing support

What if my site is kind of embarrassing?

Then you’re exactly on schedule as a business owner.
Most sites are “fine” until you realize “fine” is expensive. Let’s fix it.
